"Chess is an ancient game that incorporates strategy, analytical thinking, and problem solving, plus builds concepts of space, vision, and organization" according to Coach Harris.

Chess can increase IQ levels in young students. Studies show Chess players on average score 15% higher in mathematics and science test assessments (regardless of socioeconomic backgrounds). Competition makes learning fun and makes for a positive educational  experience.
